Read reviews & descriptions, see maps & quality photos. I am working at the Kearl Lake project in Northern Alberta and staying at Wapasu Creek Lodge which is a dry camp. But the law of contract still applies even if one party is massive and can afford to refuse to negotiate different terms.
In that case, the employer likely could not unilaterally introduce such a term to existing employees.
So a term that required all employees to attend to a certain church each Sunday would probably be illegal.
It would be a different story if this type of alcohol policy were introduced to existing employees.
So if an employee thought this policy to be unfair, his option is to not start work in the camp and to work elsewhere.
This can seem unfair as obviously an employer has a much stronger bargaining position than any individual employee, and in reality an individual employee probably has no chance to successfully negotiate different terms.
